Hey!

As some of you know, I am not a big fan of Christmas. I'm really not sure why. It seems to symbolize greed and excess more than anything, and I'm not a person who is able to spend large sums of money on gifts. I like keeping it simple and nowadays there's so much pressure to spend, spend, spend; to top last year.

This year I'm not dreading it quite so much for some reason. This has not been a good year for me in many ways; yet who knows what may be around the corner, and there are good things happening too, good changes.
