So yesterday was sort of an anniversary for me

October 1, 1990 was the day I found out I was to be a mom. We had been trying for a while so I was pretty happy. I remember feeling so special, and so awed that something tiny was growing inside me and was my child. Now that the tiny cluster of cells is an obnoxious 14-year-old, I try to remember that feeling, and how precious he is. I was happy when I found out I was pregnant with the other two, but there's nothing like that first time, the day your life changes forever. It was never going to be just me again. I was now a MOTHER.

Ha ha, he'll be SO embarrassed if he reads this.

Wow, if my mom was still alive she would've agreed full heartedly.

My mom and dad tried 3 years before I was conceived. Our family has a problem with low, low fertility.

Anyways she passed away in 1991 of a brain anuerysm. I feel sad that she didn't get to spend more time with my brother and I, but the time she had she charished. All the pictures of her and us, of us making crafts with her...just anything she could do she did.

Angie you should be proud and I hope he reads this...it will be hilarious.
